Our chiropractors at Foundations will develop a personalized treatment plan that involves using a manual approach to improve and optimize your health and best meet your specific needs.

Chiropractors treat everything from your head to your toes. They are trained to diagnose and treat injuries to bones, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and nerves.

Your personalized treatment plan may also include joint manipulation/mobilizations, soft tissue therapy such as ART® or Graston®, modalities (Interferential current, ultrasound, or laser), lifestyle changes, and/or rehabilitative exercises to help prevent a reoccurrence and to improve health or performance.

Nat is a British Army Veteran with a passion for fitness and helping people achieve their best. Nat began his training career while providing strength and conditioning training to the British Army Combat Shooting Team. Since then, he has worked with a variety of populations, including current and prospective service members, athletes, and everyone in between. At Foundations, Nat works closely with the other practitioners to implement training as an adjunct to their patients’ care plans. Nat is passionate about the principle that fitness is for everyone. From competitive athletes and powerlifters to desk workers and parents/grandparents who want to play with their little ones; Nat will help you ‘train for life’.

Dr. Carrie Johnston’s path to becoming a chiropractor began at Queen’s University, where she completed both her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Science. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, in 2008.

Dr. Johnston is an evidence-based chiropractor who continually strives to further her education to provide patients with the best possible care. As such, she is certified in the Webster Technique (International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association), Active Release Techniques®, Graston Technique®, and has taken courses in Mulligan Mobilizations. Athletics have always been a large and integral part of Dr. Johnston’s life and are one of the main reasons she chose to enter the chiropractic profession. Jenna has always been a wellness enthusiast, taking pride in her own health as well as the well-being of those around her. Growing up in Chelsea, with Gatineau Park as her back yard Jenna is a natural-born outdoors enthusiast. This is where her love of sports and passion for healthy living began, eventually leading her towards a career in massage therapy.

After graduating from The Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Jenna became a Registered Massage Therapist in both Ontario and Quebec. In her practice, Jenna focuses on identifying the unique needs of each of her patients and treating to accomplish their individual goals. She prides herself on creating customized treatment plans with measurable results. Jenna utilizes a variety of massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, to treat for stress relief, postural dysfunctions, headaches, general muscle aches/pains and much more. Graduating with honours from Centennial College in Toronto, Lindsay is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). She has a special interest working with patients to help injury prevention and those rehabilitating from injury or post surgery. She has experience treating numerous conditions including, but not limited to; strains/sprains, tendonitis, frozen shoulder, pre/post natal care, running or triathlon related injuries, relaxation, and general maintenance.

Lindsay’s treatment style has a more orthopedic mindset to determine and treat the root cause of pain/discomfort while still incorporating the wellness part of massage to ensure you leave feeling mentally, and physically relaxed. She enjoys incorporating several specific techniques including myofascial work, joint mobilizations, passive stretching, and deeper pressure when needed. Lindsay has additional training in advanced joint mobilizations, TMJ work as well as Microcurrent Point Stimulation Scar Release Therapy to help improve mobility in old, and new scars.
