Devin Brown RMT
Devin is a Registered Massage Therapist with over a year of professional practice, having graduated from Algonquin College’s Massage Therapy program. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph—and previously earned a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from St. Lawrence College, supported by a partial scholarship for academic excellence.
With seven years’ experience as a personal trainer, Devin brings a solid foundation in fitness and health to his massage practice. He has held roles across multiple sectors, including gym staff, physiotherapy clinic placements, and strength & conditioning centers—drawing on those experiences to tailor each treatment.
His practice is tailored for athletes and active individuals, centered on deep tissue massage and neuromuscular techniques, and designed to deliver solution‑oriented results. Devin believes in movement as medicine, working with clients to relieve pain, enhance performance, and return to the activities they love—whether sports, work, or family life.

Proud to serve the community he was raised in, Dr. Brent Burton has been a chiropractor in Ottawa since 2006. He studied Biology and Geography at Carleton University before going on to graduate Cum Laude and with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.
Dr. Burton focuses on restoring mobility and improving body functionality using evidence-based techniques. He strives to ensure that patients can not only remain symptom-free but also maintain active lifestyles. He has taken additional courses in Active Release Technique®, Graston Technique®, and Trigenics in order to fit patient’s needs.Dr. Burton’s experience has allowed him to work with both professional and amateur athletes and performers, including Ottawa’s professional football team. Sophie Desmarais

Sophie Desmarais’s journey into physiotherapy is rooted in a lifelong dedication to movement, sport, and empowering people to feel their best in their body. She began her academic path at the University of Ottawa, completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, where she also worked as a student athletic therapist for the women’s hockey team, then worked as a personal trainer after graduation. She later went on to earn her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London. Her clinical training spans a wide range of practice settings, from musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy with elite rugby athletes at Trailfinders Rugby Club in London, to acute care at King’s Cross Hospital, to neurophysiotherapy and pelvic health placements. Prior to completing her MScPT, Sophie also worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in both MSK and neurological rehabilitation and volunteered in post-stroke rehabilitation through Different Strokes in London.
Sophie’s practice philosophy centres on collaboration, taking the time to understand what matters most to each patient, identifying the contributing factors behind their symptoms, and building treatment plans that combine manual techniques, sports massage, and exercise rehabilitation in a way that fits their real life.
Outside the clinic, Sophie keeps active through basketball, flag football, hiking, running, and strength training. Bilingual in English and French, she happily works in both languages.

Nat is a British Army Veteran with a passion for fitness and helping people achieve their best. Nat began his training career while providing strength and conditioning training to the British Army Combat Shooting Team. Since then, he has worked with a variety of populations, including current and prospective service members, athletes, and everyone in between. At Foundations, Nat works closely with the other practitioners to implement training as an adjunct to their patients’ care plans. Nat is passionate about the principle that fitness is for everyone. From competitive athletes and powerlifters to desk workers and parents/grandparents who want to play with their little ones; Nat will help you ‘train for life’.

Dr. Carrie Johnston’s path to becoming a chiropractor began at Queen’s University, where she completed both her Bachelor of Physical and Health Education and Bachelor of Science. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario, in 2008.
Dr. Johnston is an evidence-based chiropractor who continually strives to further her education to provide patients with the best possible care. As such, she is certified in the Webster Technique (International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association), Active Release Techniques®, Graston Technique®, and has taken courses in Mulligan Mobilizations. Athletics have always been a large and integral part of Dr. Johnston’s life and are one of the main reasons she chose to enter the chiropractic profession. Dr. Johnston has an extensive background in both singles and synchronized skating, and now enjoys recreational pursuits such as golf, running, waterskiing, wake surfing, and strength training.
